Workshop: Beginner Game Development for Educators

Beginner Game Development for Educators

Game Development is a rapidly developing field that exists in the intersection of storytelling and computer programming, where designers shape and construct new gaming experiences. Game Development offers an opportunity to use creative thinking and practice problem solving, iteration, and the design process.

Our Beginner Game Development for Educators workshop introduces Scratch as a platform for beginner game development. You will learn the basics of programming in Scratch, how to create basic game mechanics, and how to teach these skills to youth.
